I am currently renting and have been paying my electricity bill, I had an unforseen emergency and my son was admitted in hospital and incurred unforseen expenses which would have compromised my son's health. i wrote an email requesting that I pay half of my current month electricity bill and i will pay the whole amount with next month's bill. to my shock i got a response that they won't allow me to make such arrangement and even thou they didnt say it in so many words it meant they dont care what happened they just want their money by the 15th or they will disconnect. I understand they are in business and they will make more money when they disconnect and reconnect but I think it was so unnecessary for them to handle this matter this way and I was in a fragile state since my 1 year old son was admitted in hospital. my account is even up to date. it will help to be human sometimes.
