Sanral asks me to pay but won't accept my money

I drive under two gantry every night around 11 and again at 4 the next morning.
I now received an invoice. Like a good citizen I wanted to pay.
I went to the bank and wanted to deposit the money, but was told that Sanral does not accept cash.
I don't use a credit card and don't do internet banking.
Since when is cask not an acceptable form of payment? Either you ask the bank to accept cash or you get nothing at all.
