CONFUSED NORTHERN CAPE WITH NORTH WEST

I received a message from the suppliers of my child's schoolbooks to confirm that the books were delivered to XPS on 20/01/2014. These suppliers are in Pretoria, and we live in Brits - North West Province (About 60 km away). I waited 3 days, but received no books. On 23/01/2014 I called XPS, gave them the tracking number 9148077107, I was assured that the parcel would be delivered on the same day still.
But we received nothing. On 24/01/2014 I made enquiries again, this time I was informed that the parcel was in Kimberley (800 km away) - on its way to Britstown (Northern Cape)??? Really? XPS is supposed to be one of the leading couriers in South Africa - and they don't know Brits from Britstown? A parcel that was suppose to travel 60 km will now have travelled at least 1600 km if I ever receive it.
