I had a blow out on my motor bike with a brand new Michelin Pilot Power tyre. The Blowout occured after doing less then 40kms. I took the bike back to where I bought the tyre. They advised they would have to contact the michelin rep, My vehicle was inspected a week after the issue. I have been then told the rim is damaged as Air is leaking out and I need to repair this at my cost. On top of this there is damage to the bike which they have not commented on as yet.
The rim was damaged due to the tyre having a blow out. They now need to send the info back to there technical department and I am stuck with no vehicle or assistance from Michelin which I find unacceptable.
