I have always been a supporter of the SPCA and defended them. I went to Centurion SPCA this morning and saw 2 Cocker Spaniel puppies, about 6 weeks old, they had already been there for a couple of days. They were wet, and so was the kennel and their bedding. One of the puppies was very lethargic and thin, I reported it to the guy at reception, who did not even look like he knew the puppy was extremely sick, he responded with they might be going to the vet this afternoon, the puppy died a few hours later. I feel sick when I think about it. Some people who work there have absolutely no compassion for these poor animals. I have lost all respect for the SPCA and will no longer be supporting them.
