Our vehicle broke down on our way home from holiday on 03/01/2014 just after two pm with 40 degrees outside no shade and a ine year old son. I contacted AA Roadside Assistance via my FNB Petro Card. I phoned the call centre at 14:20. The agent informed my that they would tow me to Swellendam. The nearest dealer. They would contact me with the name of a two truck company. An hour and a half past with no feedback. So I contacted the call center, they were still waiting for quotes from the tow truck companies. It was very hot and my son was not coping. I pleaded. Nothing. The tow truck eventually arrived at 19:20. Bad service. I will definitely not recommend. Only tow truck driver was in any way helpful.
