I sold my Cape Town property, that we only used twice a year, in 2013. So I called to advise the sale of my property together with television, that I no longer have a second TV set at that address and that they should please cancel my TV Licence. Subsequently, after receiving letters of demand for outstanding payments, I then also sent them numerous hand written letters explaining my situation, but still no response except for more accounts for outstanding television licence fees plus penalties. When I approached their agents at the Post Office I was told by the person behind the counter that I should download the "prescribed" form from their website to complete and explain my situation. Well, I am still looking for the "prescribed" form on their website. The "prescribed" form DOES NOT EXIST.
