Our wedding day was on Sunday, 1 December 2013. Together with our centrepieces (which were lovely) and other flowers and bouquets, we ordered 2 bags of rosepetals to be used as confetti. When checking the box when we arrived at the venue we realised that the rosepetals were not delivered. Bunches for Africa is closed on a Sunday, but I was provided an emergency contact cellphone number. However, when trying to call there was no answer. So there we were with no confetti - had to improvise and use popcorn.
We were on Honeymoon overseas for 2 weeks directly after the wedding, and a family member returned certain rented items to bunches for Africa on 2 December 2013, and mentioned the rosepetals not being delivered to Sureen. she said she would be in contact with me re the rosepetals after the 14th - I am still waiting.
We did receive a refund of our refundable deposit and the money for the petals, but this is still not acceptable given that one expects all the items to be delivered at one's wedding and a call or e-mail from them to apologise for the inconvenience would have been much appreciated
