Total lack of assistance by DENOSA

In April 2012, I joined DENOSA and paid membership fees in advance for 6 months. In June 2012, after my employer liquidated itself, I contacted the Union for advice in this regard and supplied all relevant documentation to Mr Sikwe at the PE office. I called him a month later to inquire about progress and was told that the matter was being handled by their legal department. On 24/10/2012 Paul Motsepe, legal officer in Pretoria, promised that he will report back after investigating the matter. He never reported back. After several more emails, Sikwe emailed (In Jan 2013) that he lost the documentation I provided in June 2012. At that point in time I already consulted a labour lawyer because of the lack of performance by DENOSA. I requested that my membership fees be paid back because they did not provide the required services to me as a member. To date, I have received no response regardless of copying in Board members of DENOSA.
