Purchased upright Bissel Vacuum at Game Gateway, a wee before Christmas in 2012. Was in the vacuum section looking at R699 units which I normally purchase every 3 years, was approached by two Tevo male sales people who showed me the Bissel upright vacuum and advised it was on introductory offer of about R1499 and is ver good to remove pet hair and comes with two year warranty. If any problems, just bring machine into store and they will swop. Was sold on their sales pitch as we just acquired a kitten and the warranty was good. It is the most expensive vacuum I ever purchased. They recorded my contact details to prove a purchased unit, and I paid cash at games cashier. Machine stopped working last week Thursday. Contacted Shaista at Tevo in game and explained situation and also advised that I have misplaced cash slip and she advised that the Tevo no longer brings this unit in and guarantee is 1 yr and not 2yr. Nothing can be done as I will have to pay. I was sold on the fact that this was Introductory offer (which means model is new) and 2year exchange warranty. My contact details were recorded by Tevo Salesman at purchase, hence this can be traced. Tevo needs to HONOUR sales talk!!!
