Poor service to say the least - Bellagio Eastgate

We bought an engagement ring from Bellagio in the beginning of Nov. We were assisted by Suhail.

My fiance was in JHB for training however we are based in CPT. Suhail assured us that should anything go wrong with the ring that a solution could be arranged.

I needed to have it resized and we opted to have it done with a jeweller in CPT, we did phone Suhail before doing this to confirm that if we do the resizing the warranty would still stand. He confirmed this.

The diamond on the band has since fallen out twice.

We were advised by a jeweller in CPT to contact Bellagio as this seems to be an issue with the claw setting.

I contacted Suhail and was told abruptly that he it was his off day and he didn't have the authority to authorise me sending the ring back. His words "I simply work at the store".

This is not any piece of jewellery that costs small change. I expect the accompanying service, regardless of where we are living or the circumstances.

We were upset by Suhail's attitude and contacted his manager, Sadik, he assured us that the matter would be resolved.

It is now almost 2 days later and STILL NOTHING.

This is simply not acceptable considering this emotional purchase!
