My Fiance bought my ring on the 9th of June last year - it needed to be resized - the metal that was used to weld it together after making it smaller was not the right metal (i know this because my father is in in the refinery/jewellery industry) which caused it too (ironically) split open after 7months (one month after the warrenty) which mean WE need to now pay to fix THEIR mistake which i really dont think is fair at all - how does a jeweller mess up but WE must pay to fix it because its not under warrenty anymore? This is my engagement ring - not just any ring and it means alot to me and now ontop of that - my one diamond has also now fallen out - i guess im going to have to pay to fix this too. We wanted to get our wedding bands to add to my ring but now instead we need to first pay to fix my engagement ring that we bought not even a year ago. :(
