On Wednesday, 13 November 2013, we purchased a Gemsbok (3x3) Dome Tent from Tents Direct in Centurion. After returning the Gemsbok twice complaining about holes and poor stitching of air vents and velcro, we got a mail back from Canvas & Tent (Tents Direct supplier) that we should merely use the tent's canopy to prevent leaking. I wrote back stating we were not happy with poor quality of product, but only response from Canvas & Tent was that if we did not want their product we could return it and get a refund.
Tents Direct checked 12 other Gemsbok tents and found the same poor quality of workmanship on all these tents and the only response from Canvas & Tent was that the client should use the canopy of the tent to cover the "pinholes" in the ripstop material!
This is poor customer service of the highest degree!!! I will never recommend another product from Canvas & Tent as their attitude is that of doing the customer a favor! Lot of if you ask me!
