Oh my gosh I went to the Post office yesterday, immediately I got a bad attitude from the lady on the other side of the window. I was there to collect a parcel because I was tracking it via the tracking service and I new it was there, but instead she asked where the slip was (this was done in a rude way). I answered and asked where exactly I was supposed to get it from because the parcel had arrived that very day. The comments that followed after that between her and her co-worker were snide comments. Honestly I don't get why people apply for jobs where they work with the public when they hate working with people. Her job there is supposed to be "how may I assist you, thank you" not ask question that don't help the customer, but instead leave the customer irritated and doesn't want to return there again. I really feel there should be a stop to this because another customer came in just after me (a white male), and suddenly the thank you's and do you wanna come to the back comments started flying-or was it just a case of the race card-whites get preferential treatment then me a black women. Some needs to address this bad attitude.
