The incident occurred during the week of the 14th - 18th of January 2013 (working hours).

I was called by one of the Mobiles Plus telemarketer employees.
After explaining that she was a partner to MTN, she began her marketing material immediately, to which I interrupted her by politely saying that I was not interested nor did I have any interest in anything which was to be sold to me.
She spoke over me and continued her marketing.
I tried to be polite and come up with various reasons for why she might leave me to my work (multiple times throughout the conversation), yet she continuously brushed aside my comments and continued selling her product to me.

I attempted to be as polite as possible, but eventually I could hold out no longer, and I put the phone down on her.

I pride myself on respecting other people, and was very offended in the lack of respect I received.

She kept me on the line for around a quarter of an hour, until I finally lost my cool and ended the call abruptly. I had become completely frustrated and felt incredibly harassed.

It has left a particularly bad taste in my mouth. I have been a loyal MTN subscriber, and I find this treatment unprofessional.
