When enquired on the guarantee of the kwikot geyser I was informed that the geyser has a 5 year guarantee on the drum (if it burst) but what they don't tell you is that the guarantee is only on the "first" time it burst.
Let me explain, if you install a geyser 1 Jan 2010 and it burst on 31 December 2015 they will replace the geyser because its within 5 years. What they don't tell you is that once they have replaced the geyser and the new one burst on 1 January 2016 (the one they just replaced) you do not have any guarantee, its your own problem. You only get one 5 year guarantee.
In other words, the guarentee is 5 years on all the geysers once it was replaced once.
When calling the service desk the the person was very rude, put me through to her supervisors that was on voice mail, still waiting for the call back!
