Kwikot Geysers not compatible with Tshwane Wate

I have had a problem with my geyser and was referred to the supplier, Kwikhot. I had made an appointment with them for 15h30 on 01 November 2013. After contacting them they advised that they will be at my place at 16h30. They arrived at my place at 18h35. After draining out the geyser, etc, they advised that they do not have the parts with them and that they will come at 12h00 on 02 November 2013. This was also confirmed by an sms that I received on 02 November 2013. I waited the entire afternoon and evening and no one pitched. I contacted them this morning (03 November 2013) only to be advised that the call was cancelled by the supervisor. On contacting the supervisor, Yanie 082 316 3311, he advised that the issues was not covered by the Kwikhot warrantee and that the geyser must be serviced and cleaned out every year due to the poor quality of the water in Tshwane. He has indicated that they have seen this situation numerous times. So why have they not advised customers in Tshwane not to buy their products or informed the public of the poor water quality. It may be cheaper on the long run to buy a different make geyser than doing a yearly service!!!
