I had been tracking a parcel inbound to SA for some time from a supplier in Hong Kong. It mysteriously went missing after arriving at the Witspos centre. After 7 weeks and hours of phone calls it was located again. Unfortunately when it was finally delivered to me via the Benmore branch the box was empty, with only the packing material remaining inside the card board container, the parcel manifest documentation had also been removed and the box resealed with different packing tape on its base. The kicker is that despite all the interaction with numerous very helpful people at the two branches - there has been no ownership of the problem or compensation. The primary reasoning being that I didnt open the parcel in the presence of a postal official!!!
So despite copies of the tracking documentation, completion and submission of forms/ invoices/ postage manisfests, notes of all telephonic conversations and photographic proof of the final parcel... its still not enough to result in any action.
