May be the worst service I have ever received

During February 2013, I decided to pay Rapid Business Registrations (RBR) R500 to amend the name of a company on my behalf, rather than going through the schlep of doing it myself. All the necessary documents were hand delivered to the RBR office in Johannesburg during February 2013. During April 2013 I phoned RBR to get a status update. At first, they had no knowledge of my case. Upon investigation, my documents were found in the office and has not even been submitted to CIPC. This process is only supposed to take up to 8 weeks. RBR apologised and submitted the docs. During August 2013, RBR sent me an email explaining that the name amendment was not approved by CIPC due to the fact that the name reservation expired. Of course, if RBR had done their work on time, the name reservation would not have expired. RBR again apologised and promised to resubmit my request to CIPC. It is no 2 more months later and RBR is not even responding to my emails and telephone calls to get a status update anymore. The manager on duty ignores my emails. I was promised a status update on several occasions but it never happens. RBR is bad news. Stay away.
