HIPPO POOLS - NON EXISTENT SERVICE

Our pool, after one week, was losing water at a rapid speed! (November 2012). After many threats, they eventually fixed the issue in March 2012. Five months later!!! We withheld R6000 from them until the issue was resolved.

Six weeks ago, same story! We were told that they are too busy to sort our issue and gave me a guy's number that did odd jobs for them. Another two weeks passed before this guy took the time to see us and after paying a R250 consultation fee, we still didn't know what the problem was.

We took matters in our own hands and consulted another contractor. They immediately showed us various cracks all over the pool (at the steps, all the corners, weir and light). We instructed them to fix but as the water level dropped, we noticed more cracks at the bottom of the pool.

We then again consulted Hippo to give them an opportunity to resolve our complaint! Upon their arrival, I was told that they will quote me to fix it as we had someone else working on the pool!!!

I do not appreciate their after-sales services nor the abrupt and attitude this matter was handled with. Their quality falls short of the price you eventually pay. Stay away!!!
