No delivery after almost a month

I purchase an item from the UK and it was posted to South Africa via Royal Mail on the 29th of August 2013.
Now, every time I phone customer service (0860111502) and give the agent the tracking no. the same thing is said... "The tracking no is not yet registered on our system and the parcel is not in the country yet"

Today I actually made an international phone call to the UK (Royal Mail) and the last record they have on my parcel was on the 30th of August 2013 (24 hours after posted) and that it arrived in Johannusburg and whent through customs. No further records exist. Now!! My question is where is my parcel and why is it not on the system after 26 DAYS??? I have been trying to get a hold on customs the entire day. No luck
