I applied for a vodacom cellphone contract last week and received a decline responce from them with a reference "poor payment profile"! I spent all of friday (20 Sep) trying to get to the bottom of this because I do not have accounts despite the car, insurances and a phone bill! I then went into a vodacom shop after being sent from pillar to post by vodacom, where I was told that experian informed them that I have an account that's over 3 months overdue! I then tried to call them on the number given to no respone, I then goggled their wibsite and requested a credit report which came back ticked under "very good account record"!
I don't understand why they are sending incorrect information to suppliers, giving incorrect ratings, a bad credit name and making me get the scare of my life! I am writing this to also help clear my head after a weekend of wonder if maybe someone my IDBook and opened accounts in my name!
