Appaling Service Delivery

My father passed away in March, we requested his ashes to be returned to us as the family after cremation, after 5 months my mother decided she was ready to scatter the ashes, and so a trip down to the coast was planned for the weekend just past (12/9 to 16/9). We went down to the beach late Saturday afternoon, all of us very emotional and sad only to be absolutely HORRIFIED and SHOCKED to find some-one elses ashes inside the cremation box marked with my late fathers details. No amount of words can describe how emotionally traumatising it was to make this discovery, and then to be assailed by a thousand and one thoughts and worries, of would we be able to track down my fathers remains, were they already scattered by someone else or just disposed of? This is an inexcusable mistake by a company who's sole duty is to deal with a loved ones remains... if they cannot employ staff who are literate and competent enough to ensure the correct crematorium number and surname match the crematorium box then perhaps they should rather close their doors before anyone else has the same awful experience we as a family had!
