Bad customer experience is part of our daily life in SA but my experience today takes a cup. I got to the post office at 12:10 to collect the document. There was only 1 teller and I waited on the queue for 30 min before I could be attended to. When I got there I only had my maiden name ID Doc and the lady behind the counter said I must bring my marriage certificate. I didn't think of bringing my marriage certificate along as the delivery notification only shows that I must my ID.I then realized I will be able to make it back on time as the signage outside shows that they close at 13:00. I ran home & made it on time and was back at post office at 12:55 but to my surprise the door was closed. The security came to open for someone who was going out at 13:00.I explained to him that I was inside and waited long on queue only to be told after 30 min that my ID was not sufficient to collect the document. He went inside and came back saying the lady said I must wait outside behind closed doors, she will come see me. I waited, then one lady came at 13:10 and I told them she is not the one who assisted me. She went back in. Around 13:28 they all come out and told me they are closed it late.
