A parcel was posted for me on the 14 august from pretoria. On the 22 August i went to the post office as i still had not received it. I spoke to the teller and explained the story to her. There was no one else in the post office at the time- she was not busy but said it would be impossible to find the parcel without the tracking number. the person who sent me the parcel is in germany at present so i am unable to obtain the tracking number. On 27 August i still had not received the parcel so i phoned the post office and explained the situation to the manager. She said hold a minute and true to her word LESS than a minute later she had the tracking number. When i went to collect the parcel the same teller was there and i said to her that i had phoned the manager and she had given me the tracking number but she was unwilling to help.immediately she went to fetch the manager who gave some strange story that the tellers are not allowed to leave their desks?? how are they meant to find the parcels. this teller was really unfriendly and unwilling to assist and i dont think that this is service. why couldnt she assist me was it that it involved a bit more work on her part.
