Three weeks ago, I was horrified to find glass shards around the bottle neck of both the above products - Gaviscon and Richelieu Brandy
Having poured a dose of Gaviscon liquid I received a very nasty cut on the tongue, luckily I did not swallow the medication and chose to discard the whole bottle. Leaving me wondering if this product for heartburn will do more damage than good!
Today, I found a bottle of Richelieu Brandy difficult to recap, again, the reason for this being loose glass shards around the neck of the bottle!!!
Good heavens, from one extreme to the other. Cause of the heartburn to the cure!! Is this a recycling plant problem or the manufactures problem, there obviously is a really dangerous problem with quality control with these two (so far) suppliers and should be looked into as soon as possible. Who knows what dangers we are ingesting due to this lack of control.
