I have a cell c contract and just received my bill. STS has deducted R334 for a supposed subscription service, which I never authorized and would have immediately cancelled if I ever received any content based SMS.
I never authorized the service and have certainly been defrauded. Given the number of on complaints of a similar nature I have read, this seems to be a usual tactic by this company. Such behavior makes perfect referrals to the Consumer Protection Tribunal.
I have emailed your offices and I expect a detailed reply and plan of action for the refund of the amounts you have unlawfully deducted from me.
