I received my Cell C account only to find that R473.85 has been deducted for call charges. This account is for my Samsung tablet and I never make calls on it. Cell C informed me that a subscription with Smart Call Technologies was being debited at R17.55 per day!!! I have NEVER subscribed to any Smartcall services.
Cell C claim that they have no part in this, but merely collect the money. I want to be refunded as a matter of urgency, as I have been defrauded. How can these companies get away with this? I thought the Consumer Protection Act would have put these companies out of business.
