Unacceptable response to repairs laptop

I got a laptop thru Fonechoice less than a year now and the hard drive crashed?? called them as still under guarantee It took them a week just to collect it
Since they collected it by me (24th July) I have called (last week and now today) and still no one can tell me how far is repairs or even when I will get it back. I told them I am paying for something that cannot use and they just remain silent on to what else I can do? not even suggestion of replacment or loan item to use?? They are so quick to call you up to buy these stuff and then when comes to back up service??? it took MY IT department at work less than 30 minutes just to have a look and tell me hard drive crashed so what takes so long to see the same thing and replace it as it is beyond repair???
this I find totally unacceptable especially as always shop at their other department HOmechoice and never have problems there as well as they last conatcted me to take a cellfone contract out with them??? with service like this will think twice before even considering buying anything from them
