A PATHETIC WARRANTY IS WHAT ITS ACTUALLY CALLED

I've been the proud owner of a sealy posturepedic Aloe Vera (do not turn) pillow top king size extra length bed since 2009. I've had the bed for 5 years now and i am aware that after 2 years the guarantee automatically false away. Fortunately Sealy provides the purchaser with a 10 year standard warranty (AWSOME one would think right?)

Since ive had the bed the standard warranty informed me that the bed will have some depressions - 4cm... which i accepted without a choice. Now after 5 years the bed has depressions of more than 9cm. The bases of the bed has actually also started sagging over time. The rep from Sealy acknowledged at time of inspection that the bed had quite serious depressions. Yes i do understand that its ONLY in the warranty period at this moment in time, and i don't expect them to replace the bed but they got back to me with a price of - R5600 to now replace the bed (acknowledging that in fact the bed in not in a respectable condition) NOT because of damage or misuse to the bed, but due to daily use. the lady in fact told me that my bed is in an unsanitary condition, when i had had it steam cleaned a few days before. her opinion based on a photo ONLY.
