Package lost & untracable

I handed a package in to be mailed from Strand to Witbank. The package (a box of 1m long by 0, 4m wide) never reached the end destination and seems to have just disappeared. I have lost the tracking no, but have the day, sender's address an delivery address. There is also a return address on the package, but it is just lost.

When enquiring at the PO, they said that the package is untraceable even with all this info! It has disappeared all tohether, as big as it is.
