A few months ago, I bought a Eurolux 3-in-1 BATHROOM heater, light, extractor fan C85W from Builders Warehouse near The Glen. It cost just under R800 and installation cost R1000. My first shower after installation was a disappointing, providing no additional warmth. Had the electricians in to check and all was in order. I went back to Builders Warehouse and complained about it but they said to bring the "heater" back and they would give me another or, re-imburse me. I then phoned Eurolux and spoke to Johan - Technical Manager. He said that in actual fact salesmen had been trained to sell it as a "body heater" and not " bathroom heater". Subsequently went to another company who explained the workings of the unit. The other brands did not claim it as a bathroom heater, but as a light with heater. He told me that if I left it on for an hour it would not make much difference in heating room. I feel that the manufacturers are falsely promoting and advertising it on the box as bathroom HEATER. I am a pensioner and am now down R2000 spent on something that does not do what it claims.
