I regularly have to go to the post office whether it be for work or personal and have found that most post offices in Port Elizabeth have extremely bad / SLOW customer service. You can easily stand for 40 minutes in the line to post one item or collect something. The people behind the counters seem to be on a permanent "go slow" and often there are only 2 out of a possible 5 or 6 counters open, this happens during busy periods as well (lunch time). It is extremely frustrating as the post office is the only place where some things can be done (licencing of vehicles etc.) so standing in these queues and dealing with this type of service is unavoidable unfortunately!
