I went to my post box today, only to realise that I am "locked out".
I then went to the Post Office in Highveld Centurion (Cnr Logan Ave and John Vorster Dr) to enquire on what is going on.
I found a very long queue (longer as normal), and most people were renewing their post boxes.
After standing for more than 30 minutes; I first enquired if my account was fully paid.
He had a "quick" (as the system is very slow) look on the system and said it is.
I then made it clear that I am locked out, to which he replied it should be resolved by tomorrow morning (I should be able to access my post box).
What I would like to know is why was it locked in the first place?
And why did I make the effort to register online and pay my account online, if it means that I still need to go to the post office in working hours and stand in a queue?
Also please note, that I have not received an invoice (notice to pay) from the SA Post Office in more than a year. I had to make an effort to pay for my post box.
Last but not least - Please keep the SPAM mail (I am not paying for advertisements/ junk mail in my post box).
