I made an appointment for a pedicure and soft laser facial at Placecol in Walmer Park. When I got there, I was placed, without a choice, in a massage chair in the open, not in a cubicle for privacy! (on the price list is a choice with a R40 difference, of a cubicle or in the chair, which I only noticed after the treatment. There was no privacy at all!!! The therapists and customers walk up and down in front of the chair where I was, they came and spoke twice to the lady who was doing the pedi, asking her stuff!!! That was unacceptable at all. I am treating myself with a pedi once a month, where I can relax and enjoy, but not at this salon. The therapists do not have any respect for the customers. They chat and laugh and it is so noisy, that you cannot relax at all! The pedi was also not up to standard. Not using a blade, not cutting your cuticles, not cutting your toe nails, only filing. I will never go back there!!! I was really upset and did not enjoy the treatment at all!
