This year I decided to pay the R400.00 for a graduation photograph package from Gordon Harris Photography (the ONLY option for a photographer at the ceremony). When I picked up my photographs a while later, I saw that they pasted SOMEONE ELSE'S eyes over my own. I realise my eyes were closed, but the editing was done in an unprofessional way, and I was not informed of this. I am not sure if they honestly thought I wouldn't notice. And I do expect a great photo for R400.00. I realise there are certain constraints involved in terms of lighting, timing, etc. but if you advertise yourself to be a professional, you should be able to deliver high quality products. When I contacted them I never received an apology, although they did offer to refund my money IF I return the photos to them at my own cost.
If I had known what grotesque photo's I would receive of my graduation, I would have made other arrangements. Now I don't have photo's of my graduation.
