I am a teacher at the Grey High School in Port Elizabeth, On 26/02/2013 a dairy delivery truck came to deliver a quotation to "fish" the hostel as a customer. After the driver left after his drop off, he reversed into my white 2006 Toyota Corolla damaging my car. I was completely unaware of this until I went to put stuff in my car where i saw that my car been damaged, there was no note left taking responsibility.
The school has video cameras all over the parking lot for instances like this. So I went to see the Head of security to ask if he would check the cameras to see if he could see something. He confirmed that on 26/02/2013 at 09:46 a white Hyundai refrigeration truck, with the registration number CX24679EC reversed into my car knocking my car forwards in its parking bay.
I contacted the owner of the company in PE and he said the truck does belong to him and the problem will be resolved. I stated i am not using my insurance, as i did not affect my no claims. he said it was fine and he will sort it out.
It is 19/06/2013 and nothing has happened and the owner now states that it is not his problem...
According to my knowledge a company needs to take responsibility for this.
