Friday 19 July 2013, at about 08:10, I was taking my kids to their Creche on the corner of Reitz & Audas str in Somerset West. Almost got run over by a car on my way over the street. On my way back to my car, a large truck with SAB written all over it, reg nr WSY890GP sped over the same stop street where I was almost killed moments before.
I drove after the truck and stopped with it at the Somerset West Golf club, and approached the driver of the truck. I asked him politely if he was the driver, and he said he was, I asked him why he drove over the stop street and if he know there was a school for young kids at that intersection. He became very aggressive and told me he did not even see the stop (must be blind) and that I cannot do anything to him, and that i can off home in my little white car.
I do not need to tell SAB that they are a public company with responsibilities, and I certainly do not need to tell you what to do with drivers who are blind. I await an eye test of the driver invplved
