Beware of Repair Men

In November Twin Appliance sent two repairmen to my home as my food lift was stuck. They spend close to two hours trying to figure out what to do and eventually unstuck it and tightened the cables. I got a call from the owner, Marius, saying I owed in access of R1000.00 rand for labour (no parts were replaced). I complained that this was excessive and he said I should pay R900.00 rands No invoice received. I did so. I used the lift the following weekend and the cable slacked very badly so i didn't want to use it again in fear that it would stick again. I phoned Marius and he has been promising since late November to come and fix it however, of late I have not been able to get a hold of him, nor is he responding to my sms's. My husband called from a different no and Marius today said that the was not responsible as he had source the business out and the "outsources"did not want to repair it as I had received a discount. My dealing were with Marius and he should honour fixing the shabby repair job as I paid R900.00 (a small fortune for tightening 2 x cable wires, and for less than 2 hour labour) for a failed repair job that didn't last for more than a night's usage.
