I have been receiving SMS's from VVM stating "Your TV Lic a/c XXXXX (Which is not the account number on my TV license) has been handed over to VVM DEBT COLLECTORS. Contact us urgently to make a payment arrangement. Tel 087 740 1211."
I am in possession of a valid, fully paid to date, balance = 0, TV license that expires January 2014.
Why should I have to incur the cost of this cell phone call for a mistake that VVM has made? Why must I be tormented with this continues stream of SMS's if I have done nothing wrong? Surely there has to be something that can be done (legally) to stop this from happening?
I have gone to the VVM website a few times now and send them emails from their system, but it appears that no one is home, as I get no response.
