On 9 January I received a SMS from VVM talking to my TV License which, according to them is thousands in arrears. They even offered a payment option and major discounts if I paid. My TV license is paid up to date, so I called them immediately. I was assured by their agent (rather obvious as the account name was clearly that of a black person and I have a very Afrikaans surname) that they had the wrong cell number and they would delete it of the system. Today, 23 January, I get the same SMS again. So much for their agent doing his job. Makes no difference to me. My'license is pqid, but we all know how VVM operate and somewhere there is a customer running up a nice, fat legal bill because VVM uses a wrong number and seems incapable to rectify.
