I have recently bought a property in Honeydew and the transferring attorneys requested me to pay a pro forma amount of R1500.00. They told me that this amount would be refunded once the property is transferred and registered. Despite many e-mails and attempts to contact them, I have to date not received any payment, despite them requesting my banking details. I have taken this up with consumer council who have not replied at all and the law society. The latter being a waste of time as well.
