Fnb handed me over to Groenewald Lubbe for temp. loan amount of R4, 638.00. I called GL and Heidi Lewis gave settlement amount of R5, 300.00 including legal fees.By the 14/11/2012 the settlement was paid into GL account and Heidi Lewis confirmed payment. On the 18/1/2013 went to FNB Pretoria North branch to close cheque account and was told, I still owe temp. loan amount of R622.74. I called GL and spoke to Jacky Williams and she confirmed that FNB will be paid amount of R622.74 by the 25/01/2013 and also that fnb was paid amount of R 3, 975.52 R701.72 legal fees = R4, 677.74. The money I paid over to GL is R5, 300.00 and when fnb and their legal fees are paid, R622. 74 remains. Where is that money? Without the R622.74 I cannot close the cheque account! On the 13/2/2013 I called Heidi Lewis and ask what is happening to my account, she said i must give her an hour she will come back to me. I waited more than two hours and sent her an email and called her. She told me that Jacky is in a meeting and she will speak to her. Why do I have to spend a lot of money to get back the R622.74? Is this how GL conduct their business? Should I seek legal advice on this matter?
