I had been notified via sms that my FNB temp loan was outstanding on the 15 of March 2013. The sms clearly stated that I had 2 days to take action. That night the money was taken off of my account and the loan was settled. Yesterday (26 March 2013) I receive an SMS from Groenewald and Lubbe Attorneys confirming who I am. When I called them to confirm they claim I have to pay R1200 legal fees as FNB Temp Loans handed me over to them for collection on the 13th OF MARCH 2013, 2 days before I received the SMS which stated I had 2 days to take action.
This is going to the Consumer rights protection board... Mark my words
