Despite several conversations and an agreement with ACS, Mr. Price's debt collectors, regarding the payments I have been making consistently every month for the last two years, they called my employer and left a message that I must contact them. For absolutely no reason, they harassed me at my workplace, creating a terrible and false impression that I am somehow defaulting on payments, despite this not being the case.
It is absolutely unethical and inappropriate to call a creditor's employer, especially when they have spoken to me personally on my cellphone. It should never be deemed permissible or ethically acceptable for this company to contact a law-abiding and up-to-date creditor at their work and leave a message.
This truly confirms the general perception that debt collectors are unscrupulous individuals who have no regard for ethical boundaries. Why is Mr. Price using this company?
