I had a loan account from Capitec Bank that was handed over to the A van der walt attorneys. A garnishee order was placed against me without me being informed worse i had been handed over whilst under debt review which means payments were being made to the loan account each month. Now the issue is i have finished with the repayments months ago but the money is still being deducted from my salary. I called to request that the funds that were deduct as an extra be refunded and an amount of about R5000 was refunded and i thought maybe they will not continue with these deductions but that was not the case as the money was still being deducted. I called their offices and spoke to Nonhlanhla whom i asked to please send me a letter of settlement, a detailed statement and my refund, up to date i have only received the letter of settlement of account and still awaiting the other two (this has been over a month since the request). I again called their offices yesterday and asked to speak to Nonhlanhla, twice i was told Nonhlanhla had no phone i must leave my details and she will call me back and that was not the case even when i had stated that the matter was urgent. I am still waiting.
