On 6 November 2013 I called 0113174303, only to hold for 14 minutes before being put through to a call centre agent. Linda, the agent that handled my call, was very polite but unfortunately very unhelpful.
I wanted to know why my outstanding balance on account number ZAR010156301 LN had tripled from 6 August 2013 to 6 November 2013. He told me to ask my attorneys to explain to me how interest on accounts worked. I then responded to say that he should explain it, as the account was being handled by JM Attorneys.
I also enquired as to why I have yet to receive settlement confirmation regarding an account that was settled in November 2012 (a year ago). He then stated that he will then request a letter via their "system". I confirm that this has been promised to me more than 4 times by various other call centre agents at JM Attorneys.
He then gave me an email address [Email Removed] to send all my queries relating to the account and interest charged thereon. I sent separate emails addressing both issues and have yet to receive a response.
JM Attorneys have charged excessively amounts for "calls received" when I called to query their charges and letters sent.
