At the end of December 2012, I started receiving sms messages to phone MBD Legal Collections regarding outstanding monies owed. At the beginning of Jan 2013 I phoned them and was told that there was an outstanding amount of R400 on a Milady's account dating back about 20 years. According to the person I spoke to this is for a pre- approved account (that I wasn't even aware of) but the admin fee's accumulated for the 20 years. I was told to pay the money immediately or I will be black listed. I'm not sure if this is even legal? Why wait 20 years to do this? Please advise urgently?
