Unable to find out who I must pay

I opened an FNB account to find out I have an outstanding amount on a credit card. The account was opened in 1997. I have been trying to find out how to pay the outstanding amount, but no one at any of the numbers I have call can or are unwilling to assist me. The Legal department said I must phone the admin department the admin department sent me back to legal. I have had them do a credit check on me, and no bad debit comes out on my name. No one can tell me with which attorneys the account is with, as I have been told the matter was handed over to the attorneys.. This account is 16 years old I have never and any communication with any staff members from FNB to inform me of any outstanding account.

I just want to pay this damm account. WHO CAN ASSIT ME!!!
