In July 2012 my son was born and admitted to NNICU as he was prem, I signed a form for him to have his hearing tested and was advised that I would receive a certificate when I discharged him. I never received any proof so presumed the test was not done. I did not receive any invoice from the audiologist and am not even sure who the audiologist was. I was then contacted by Schulenburg attorneys demanding the money, I advised them that once I have proof of the test, I will pay the audiologist, and they advised me that they would arrange the proof for me. I still don't have any proof (over a year later) and they have put a default under my name on ITC. This is very unfair, when I contact them they don't respond unless I say I'll write a report on hellopeter to which they just respond to say they will sue me for damages if I write a report? I know I have rights and if I ever receive proof of the test, I will take it up with the audiologist and will pay them. I don't see any reason that I would have to pay legal fees.
